Parents,
Here is a reminder to have your children sign up for the talent show coming soon. Note that band students will be not be participating due to their upcoming band concert.

Sign up:  April 23 – May 8^th  

in the music room 7:30-8:00 and during clubs

Music:     must have appropriate language and subject

       must be approved by Mrs. Ripps and the panel of judges.

Permission slips :  have been sent out this week and must be

signed and returned by May 8^th   

Auditions:    Practice time will be given during rotations on Monday & Tuesday with                                       auditions being held on Wed. –Fri.  May 6 -8.                                                                                            Your child will also need to be practicing at home.                                                                                      We are limited on time available to rehearse in our school day.

 

DEADLINE TO SIGN UP and audition is MAY 8^th

Students who have NOT turned in a signed permission slip

will not be allowed to perform in the Talent Show.

Constitution Research

Students have been looking at information about our US Constitution. They will be creating an interactive book that junior high students will be able to use to review for their STAAR History test. These books will be displayed at the Student Showcase in April. 

Ads

The students have been creating ads for a product and will then try to convince a magazine why their ad should be in the magazine.
